Cancellations:
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours before the session. With the exception of illness and emergencies, if you do not cancel you will be billed for the missed session.
Payment Options:
Insurance billing information to be presented at the "In-Take" interview session, which will be used for billing purposes of all future sessions. If any changes are made to your insurance, you will need to provide that information as soon as possible. Copies will be made of your insurance cards. My philosophy will be to accept the amount that is billed and paid by your insurance company.
For potential clients without insurance you can pay by check, credit card* or by cash at time of service, according to an agreed session cost arrangement.

Active Military and Military Veterans who are paying for services outside of insurance, I offer a reduced rate for my services. We can discuss this in greater detail as we meet in our first consultation.
Insurance Billing: I will begin billing insurance September 1, 2016.
Telephone Consultations: I believe that telephone consultations may be suitable or even needed at times in our therapy. If so, these fees will be billed through your insurance company, as a normal counseling session.
Extended sessions: Occasionally it may be better to go on with a session, rather than stop or postpone work on a particular issue. When this extension is more than 10 minutes, I will tell you, because sessions that are extended beyond 10 minutes may be charged on a prorated basis, based on whether the session is individual, couples, family or group. Insurance will be billed for all sessions according to the time in session based on the per hour pricing noted above.
